
Dr. Ademola Tosin Ojo
Background
Born in Ootunja Ekiti, Ikole Local Government, Ekiti State in 1972 to a royal family of Olootunja of OOtunja Ekiti. A second in a family of six. Fathered and mothered respectively by Prince Samuel Oluwande Ojo and Mrs Oyeyemi Alice Ojo (nee Olowolagba). His parents as his role model, shaped his thinking and thought him the value of ethics, moral, societal and human interconnectedness. Always instilling in him the determination to consistently maintain a top-ranking position throughout his education.
Elementary education were in St Peters Anglican Primary school, Isaba Ekiti and Egbe-Oba High School ikole. Graduated in 1987 and proceeded to Christ School Ado Ekiti for his A level education, 1988-1989. He had a 2-year stint at the then Ondo State university, Ado Ekiti now EKSU in 1991/1992 studying Biochemistry.
His penchant for medical profession took him to University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State where he obtained excellently his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MBBS in 2000.
His earlier professional apprentices were in Ekiti State Specialist hospital, now Teaching hospital and Federal Medical center, Owo in 2000/2001. He had his NYSC at Federal road Safety, Kaduna Sector Command as a Medical Officer from 2002 till 2024.
The quest for specialty training kindled his interest to pursue oversee trip that landed him in South Africa. Meanwhile, he passed both National and West African primary Examination in Psychiatry in 2003 before departing the country, Nigeria. Having traversed other countries like, USA, Australia and UK, he chose to have his specialty in South Africa where he became a Specialist/Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist in Private practice till date.
